That's US!
KevanessainOakCliffPeople.jpg
Just days before we opened and our drop-cloth curtains

It was hard work. And when we heard that the Oak Cliff People newspaper wanted to do a story on us, we were both excited and apprehensive. They were coming here to our new space and we still had drywall dust all over everything, the walls were not even primered, drywall mud was well under our fingernails, and all we had that was comforting in the room were 4 nice chairs and our palm tree that has travelled with us since we had a loft in Deep Ellum.

Oh well, if we've ever been anything together, we've been authentic.

Our hours are Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 5pm. Call for private showings.

The “All Heart” International Exhibition is an inspired exhibition wherein each work of art has heart - literally - as its theme for this show. Obregon and Neil consistently donate a portion of all their gallery exhibition proceeds to various charities as part of their commitment to the community. This exhibition's charity is Dallas Heart Ball, whose mission is to raise contributions to fund research in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pediatric heart problems through Children’s Medical Center Dallas.

TV Studios and Art Unveiling - Friday, Sept. 26, 2008 - 5p

Finished Art Tray,
Completed in June of 2007, this wooden serving tray was given to select artists on which they would paint something reflective of the Latino Culture - particularly gastronomic in nature. Artist Kevin Obregon (seen in picture) chose to paint "44 Spoons" pulling back fiery red satin, showcasing the food on the tray in somewhat a tex-mex, burlesque manner. The spoons idea came to me while watching Mexican television and admiring the botanadura button work on the pants of the mariachis.
